Singapore Business and Professional Women's Association
(Mandarin Chapter)

Singapore Business & Professional Women’s Association (SBPWA)-Mandarin Chapter is a non-profit organization that provides a platform for career women to pool their ideas, talents, professional experience and expertise in promoting their interests in their economic life as well as their status in the society.

Established in 1986, the SBPWA-Mandarin Chapter was not formed on the basis of language. The Mandarin language only serves as an alternative medium of communication. In fact, many of our members today are bilingual business and professional women from all walks of life.

Our Association is affiliated to the International Federation of the Business and Professional Women (BPW International) which is one of the largest organizations of business and professional women in the world with members in over 100 countries. In 2001, we joined hands with SBPWA and BPW(S)-Third Chapter to form the Federation of BPW Singapore. This raised our international profile with the attainment of full membership and voting rights at BPW International. Our Association is also a member of the Singapore Council of Women’s Organizations (SCWO) which is recognized by the Government as the national co-ordinating body of women’s organizations in Singapore.
